Highly recommend you buy the ACDELCO or Delphi Pump.
I initially used a cheap one to get truck running and it lasted a whole two weeks.
Replaced it with a ACDELCO pump and no issues since.
That was over three years ago.
The pump is an absolute pain to change and anything to reduce the time...
Just installed a new acdelco water pump and Hayden fan clutch on my daughters blazer.
The Hayden fan clutch was made in USA
Electric fans are great, but I will stick to the stock setup for the CUCV.
Good info on the amount of spin provided by Ken.

A lot of guys have done some amazing camper/expedition builds with these trailers.
Very ingenious ideas to utilize the space available.
Some use the S-250 shelter and others build their own.
As mentioned, the trailers are WAY overbuilt and can handle a lot more than...
Legs should be available commercially at any heavy trailer shop.
Just swap the feet.
Croft Trailer should have something that heavy duty.

If you take it apart, do it slow and take pictures to help In reassembly.
Busted gear pin or stripped gears are usually the...
I used that in my Duramax and didn’t notice any improvement.
Tried their oil additive also.
Seafoam works the best for me.
Whatever you use, always good to keep the fuel system clean.
Definitely not stock.
Has the axle been replaced also?
Too bad.
The surge brake system works great when properly maintained.
Edit.
Looks like a Bulldog or similar jack with snap ring mount will work.
A good trailer or farm store will have some to match up.
Those items when fixed should definitely make a difference.
I still recommend using a fuel system cleaner like SeaFoam.
Will keep your entire fuel system happy.
Looks like the tailgate will close just fine if it were reinstalled.
Any plans to do that?
I see the license plate attached to shelter so I assume not.
The setup looks really good.
Very well thought out.
Elevation isn’t the only factor.
Density Altitude makes a huge difference on how a vehicle (or aircraft) performs.
You can have an elevation of 8000 feet and a density altitude of 9700 feet.
It varies up or down depending on temperature at that 8000,(or whatever) elevation.
The colder it is...
Keep lugging it up the hills like that and it will break.
No turbo needed.
Have you used any fuel system cleaner?
Seafoam, etc?
They will make a difference in a dirty system.
Agree with the other recommendations.
The 6.2L isn’t remotely a powerhouse to start with.
Adding tall (for a CUCV)...
There’s a guy on YouTube who used, among other things, transmission fluid to help the initial CUCV start.
Smoked like crazy at first and lighter smoke for quite a while.
Seemed to take forever for all of it to burn off.
Yours should eventually clear up.
