    my cost for gas tank was $96 the sending unit was around $30 fuel gauge $50 and $20 for 12” of 2 1/4” rubber hose for filler neck

    Thanks I still got a ways to go been doing the wiring trying to make a good clean wiring job which was going good until I got under the dash wiring a lot more wire than I thought

    Good I have 2/3 of a gallon left I been painting the floors and inside the engine compartment with it leaving most of exterior with original patina for a while

    I installed my new gas tank tonight I used a new tank for a 57 chevy bel air 16 gallon. It fit pretty good . Moved the passenger side hanger strap a couple inches The filler neck is in same location as m37 same size too .

    Thanks ! As far I steering wheel I’ll have to research it was thinking maybe a two part epoxy putty but not sure ! Have any ideas

    I have no idea the valve stems are missing and the tires feel hard as concrete tires weigh close to 400 pounds each

    Discovered that the floor under the seats was rotted out so I cut out the bad and replaced it with new metal

    I seen a video of a guy with a power steering kit the box looks like mine but it looks like he mounted it on its side wondering if I can turn mine 1/4 turn on it’s side and get better wheel clearance since mine will rub on full right lock with tires over 33” tall
