I was thning about something like that but I think the axle is further aft than the M1101. If I built a camper right with more weight forward I should be fine
I know you said used but here are the part numbers for new
The TM lists 146-7477 that according to the CAT web site is replaced by part number 191-6241. Maybe you can look in your area for used or NOS
Here's one on ebay...
Does anybody have a lead on the CTIS angle fitting that replaces the kneeling valve? I have the part number and the DANA web site under "where to buy" has oreilly's listed. I called 2 Oreilly's and they have no clue. One did say they see it on the computer but didn't know how to order.
The...
The OE ones are made by Sprague and the part number is S-4706 . I have had good luck getting Sprague parts from Rome Trucking. Give then a call on Monday. http://www.rometruckparts.com
You may also need the fluid nozzle things that attach to the arms. Part number is 106.731
And the plastic...
you know there are just too many LMTV owners in the Washington. Can't even go out with my LMTV without running into other LMTV owners (Like 3 others)...
Don't know where you got that the rear pressure is greater than the front with what I posted. It only talks about the rear service air.
The air will be less to the rear wheels (no load in the bed) and the brake service chambers should be same volume front/rear. I believe they take the same...
I was having an issue in snow... with my foot on the brake and letting up the rear wheels started to spin before the front brakes released. The was causing issues.
Reading the TM it says to hook up a pressure transducer to the brake can and then hook up to the STE/ICE. Are they just using the STE/ICE as a very expensive pressure gauge? I think my load sensing valve isn't adjusted right. I want to check but don't have a STE/ICE thingy
Interesting... I have the package here and there is no expiration date. The DOM is 4/09 and seem fine. I am going to use them. I wanted factory as they are thinner than the HPS ones. there isn't a lot of room there...
Looking thought some of the pictures of that auction site I see some of the trucks have insulation on the pipes. I also see there is a call out in the parts manual. Was there some type of revision to remove the insulation?
Would it harm anything to warp the pipes with some exhaust pipe insulation?
Well changing my belts have turned into quite the lesson on what not to do. In my lessons I damaged the charge air hose on the cool side. I was wondering where I can get a replacement. The parts manual shows only a OEM part number an in my attempt to cross the number has ran into a dead end...
This one seem to be much better constructed than the smaller one. If I didn't buy it from harbor tool I would have thought it was not a harbor tool. there was someone here how said they used this on a M939 with no issues. I think it will be fine.
