AL to VA/NC/MD: Need seats in crates hauled

I am still working the SS Supply Train to get these seats. Please PM me if you are going to Redstone or are passing by anywhere close to there and are headed east. I can pay fuel to make it worth you going out of your way. Thanks!!

    Darrell Braun FANSITE!! HAHAHA

As usual, you go flying off the handle when someone posts about Darrell. I just deleted your huge post with all of the baseless accusations about SS admin/mods covering for DB. That couldn't be further from the truth and we've talked about that before. Mods/Admin have never covered for...

AL to VA/NC/MD: Need seats in crates hauled

Ain't that the truth! Thanks for volunteering, Adam. Hopefully someone else will chime in to get them from AL to SC. I love the SS Shuffle! :-D I am looking forward to getting one bolted in the 925A2. Anything will work better than wood blocks!!

AL to VA/NC/MD: Need seats in crates hauled

Hi all, A few of us 939-series truck guys went in together to get a lot of 4 seats in AL. They are at Redstone right now and will need picked up ASAP and hauled to the east coast. The seats are in individual palletized, crates. Each crate measures 31" x 31" x 44" (L x W x H) and they weigh...

My BIG M925A2 Project Truck Is Home

Thank you to TigerHawk, Cdub, and Seatyger. It's feedback like this that keeps me going. I won't have a chance to do anything this weekend as I will be in the mountains for a little deer hunting. Hopefully, I'll get the hood installed next week along with some fresh batteries so I can do some...

    813 GL - Alert

There is no auction posting allowed prior to the close of an auction. I edited your post to remove the site information. Everyone needs to do their own inspection or have someone else do it so they can draw their own conclusions. How could you tell that the engine was locked up other than a...

    Need 250 cummins injector pump

If you can't find one, then you can always have yours rebuilt. I had one redone for around $250. Any reputable IP shop should be able to handle it.

    M939 axles

Wow! That sounds like a fun project! Congrats on getting it done. I can't wait to get my truck roadworthy so I can start doing some longer shakedown runs. It's all those little details that makes a truck really nice. Hopefully we'll get to compare notes at Aberdeen next year!

900 and 800 winches the same?

I have winch motor adapter envy. I can't wait to get my new one so I can get the motor mounted and test the winch system.

My BIG M925A2 Project Truck Is Home

Thanks John. It was a thrill to drive it even though I was using cribbing for a seat and had the fuel filter issues. I can't wait to get it out on the road. The engine really winds up nicely and I was able to get it all the way to 4th gear on a straight stretch of dirt road. It felt great!

900 and 800 winches the same?

I believe the winches are the same. I have looked closely at a winch mounted on a 809-series and it looks identical to a 939-series. I don't know for sure about the frame extensions.

    M939 winch motor bracket

Thanks Jeff. I am waiting on a machine shop to make me one right now. They'll probably do it out of aluminum to keep the strength similar to the cast part.

My BIG M925A2 Project Truck Is Home

UPDATE: I had a work session at John's today. My plan was to get the good, used treadle valve swapped in and then get the hood mounted. I started out the day pumping gear lube into the front end for about 30 minutes. While I was doing that I discovered that one of the u-bolt ends had been...

    5 Ton Battery Relocation Kit

I have always used 2 batteries in my 939A2 trucks and haven't had a problem getting them started. It may be a little harder in snowy Pittsburgh, but that's what the ether start is for ;) Joe has the kits listed for $995 Surplus Parts For Sale There were a ton on GL a while back and they all...

Thanks for that info, Wayne. I have one I'll be mounting on my 925A2 once I get some new batteries in it.

My BIG M925A2 Project Truck Is Home

I have the hood and grill for it, but haven't put it on since it's a lot easier to access everything with it off. I will probably get it on this weekend or next. I do love Mad Max though! :)

Need VIN inspection by LEO in Halifax, NC

Thanks for the suggestions gang. The only bad part is the form is from CO so I don't know if and local agencies would do it for me, officially. It doesn't hurt to ask though.

    Kenworth PLS 8x8 Pics/Videos

Thanks for the drool footage, James. That is one handy truck. I can only imagine the looks on people's faces when you roll up to the trail head and unload your buggy! You and Soni M920 need to get together and convoy!
