take one of the other rocker arms off and compare the known working lifter to the suspect lifter. try pushing and pumping both to see if they are similar.
i see cracks in one end. i wouldn't reuse it. i would use it to see if the lifter is locked? can you remove the lifter without removing the head? with a magnet on a stick?

yea you will find some just let the folks here know what you need. also you might want to check the height of that valve stem compared to the others. it could be that your piston hit that valve and broke the rocker instead of bending the rod. also could have just been adjusted wrong.

yea it is a very robust design and very handy when you need AC power in tight spots. i have used it to run a couple of deep freezers in power outages many times. and nobody wants to borrow it because of the rope! Ha Ha Ha
i think your problem is narrowed down to the combustion side of the engine. you say the injectors and fuel pumps are correct new and calibrated by a professional fuel injection shop for this engine application. Correct?
