    Ring to pinion backlash question

    New Ride

. Maybe a half a day sitting in the right seat - removing the existing Circuit Breakers (CB's) and cleaning the contacts, then adding a touch of Anti-Oxidation paste could solve a lot of problems. These vehicles, driven by 18 year old youngsters that have no care about maintenance - might...

    Air powered wiper Questions

. A couple of drops of MMO in the air hose feeding the wipers - and let it run for a while - could greatly improve wiper performance. Don't go off the deep end, just a few drops...

    Mav’s M1088A1 Conversion

. I know you don't want to, but now might be a good time to look at the fuel filter again. Maybe you "caught all the crap" that was sloshing around in the tank. Glad to hear she made it home without a hiccup! Nice looking vehicle...

    Spoon’s build thread

. Having hydraulic power on board gives you lots of options. Aside from your original goal for a winch, you can have a hydraulic impact wrench, or a chain saw, or a even a jack... Lots of choices. Heck, you could even connect your log splitter up to the system if you wanted to.

I lifted the links from @Awesomeness (in his tagline) LMTV/FMTV Quck Parts Reference Spreadsheet #2 (w/ CAT 3116) LMTV/FMTV Common Issues & Fixes Hopefully this helps... Both links are functional too.

And... If you happen to be in our military, in the reserve units in particular Tan or Camo are interchangable.

    Surging, stumble and stall

. Cheapest possible fix is to treat the fuel with additive. There are more opinions on what to use than people, so a trip to Tractor Supply or somewhere similar and then go drive a half a tank of fuel out - and see if things got better. I had what I call oscillating that was about to drive me...

Show your 5 tons in the snow.

. Might have to eventually paint it black - but I love your GET OUT OF THE WAY that is mounted on the hood. Since you have a "Tipper" you must have something that will load that bed. That will be great up there in the cold where you are... And the weight in the back will help keep you from...
