Well fellas, got the hh stabbed after some minor adjustments with the quill shaft, and she fired right up after a good battery charge. On the other hand, I somehow lost the stupid Jesus clip! What the crap!

So, I should make an attempt to move the crank just enough to get the full arc on the quill shaft and it should hopefully work or drop in...

Thank you gimp, but does that have anything to do with the timing on the pump itself? Or do I just turn it so the hh will go back in?

The funny thing is, I forgot to put the smaller o ring on. With a little living, she went in. I just needed to crank her down a little too clear up the larger o ring when I put the nuts back on.

Well, I got it in because I left off the smaller o ring. I am guessing the o rings are preventing it from going in. I took the hh back out and I lubed them up with oil and still nothing and I don't want to force it. Any suggestions?

Well, I got the hh ready to go and I tried to put it back in but no success and I have about a 1/4 inch gap on the base. I lined the red line up to the fuel shutoff marker, but I think this is getting in the way. .

More than likely the damaged one was mine. I am thinking about getting a new one and using lapping compound to match with the rod. I will look at it more when I get home

Yeah, it's no good. The clip and the button was sitting on the bottom when I pulled the hh. One end on the clip broke off

Well my big issue is this, my truck was running wonderfully until I had to work non stop and then attempted to start her up 6 months later with no luck
