Interesting. I was just working with some on my breakers too. The plastic cases are showing their age. Probably heat and UV light. I note one key difference between yours and mine. Yours has rust on it. Look for a leak above that panel. Gaskets on the running lights maybe.

Our military drives these vehicles on the road. They have to meet DOT standards. I have not heard a single legislative explanation for essentially banning vehicles. Anyone legislative justification this in any state?
I think that every parade is an opportunity to talk about these issues. A banner draped on the side of the truck stating "Help us preserve Military Vehicles by supporting our "Get Back On the Road petition". Something like that. Veterans will help. VFW members would help. Who wants a 20,000#...
