How can I fix that can you send me a solenoid for the starter it’s a 24volt style 2 starter thanks. Or alerta a link to get the starter solenoid. Can Just clean the lever inside that pushes the pinion gear?
And will it make it stop.
Also how do I test the solenoid?

Sorry what I meant is when I start it it grinds it does not spin or make contact with the flywheel. On the flywheel it grinds and then in 2 seconds it spins on the flywheel and it starts. What I meant is after 2 second it makes contact with the flywheel then the engine turns over.
I know there is a thread for this already I tired to switch it to tb4 12,13,14 it did not start but when I put it on 14 it stared but the grinding would not start it never done this before when I bought a new starter and started on it it started with no grinding on the fly wheel help yes I also...
I tested the solenoid it was bad it wouldn’t turn on so we losses the fuel injection lines and the line were it goes to the high pressure fuel module and it started I waited 5 minutes to see if it would turn on by it self and it. Did now it turns on thanks for all the information
My mep 003a started but it shuted off when I cranked the starter nothing but I could here the fuel being pumped I’m not sure my starter solenoid burned inside or it’s the fuse can you tell me we’re my fuse is I can’t find it if you have a MEP003A send me a picture of we’re the fuse location is...

i know that should it be red or black to connect the slave to the starter p55Y2n or the red arrow pointing to the black wire is the p55Y2n?
