Hermannator - Bringing a generator is OK. Some folks do and some don’t. There is a building at the Offroad Ranch that has power and full bathrooms.
Thank you for the power sharing offer. I’m good without power, but I won’t speak for everyone else.
We will get access to the Offroad Ranch at 17:00 that Friday afternoon. If you get to the College Station area early, Lincoln (nofearnohope) may be able to arrange a staging area until 17:00 if needed.
We’ll have mud at the rally... Just say’n....
First, I want to say thank you to texas30cal for spending his entire Saturday yesterday helping me change axel boots. I greatly appreciate the use of his shop and all of the help he's given me. Thank you!
As mentioned in a previous post, I got two years out of my front axel boots from...
I believe a duel at 20 paces is a very reasonable solution to this dilemma. Especially given the conflicted nature of the voting constituency. However, I offer one nuance. Both parties must use a grease gun!!!!
I couldn’t decide. So I let my son pick. He choose the Goat....
Best of luck to...
Mik - The SS group will convoy to the Museum on Saturday where we will have reserved parking for our group. In past years, Lincoln has been able to get a police escort for the convoy to and from the Museum. The convoy through College Station (with a police escort) is one part of the weekend...
I have a head gasket for the LDT 465 that I'd sell. $40 delivered to the Offroad Ranch.
Otherwise, I'm still in the acquire/hoard mode... So let's see what others are selling!
The rally is less than a month out, and I'm getting excited! It's great to see the usual group is returning. It wouldn't be a Texas Rally without y'all!! I'm also glad to see a number of people posting that this will be their first time to attend. I always enjoy meeting other SS members...
I just started a buy/sell/trade thread for the Rally (https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?176738-2018-TX-MV-Rally-Buy-Sell-Trade-Thread&p=2110180#post2110180).
Because, you know, green iron addicts love to buy, sell and trade....
The 2018 Texas MV Rally is coming up on March 23-25. Rally details are included here: https://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?174914-2018-TX-MV-Rally.
Feel free to use this thread for items you want to buy, sell or trade at the Rally. Also, please respect the following:

Alright... MVs are wanted and Golfers are wanted! The Marine Corps League's Salute to Heroes golf tournament is rescheduled for Thursday, March 29, 2018.
Who can bring their MV out for static displays? The organizer would like as many MVs as possible. Also, anyone wanting to golf is more...
No apologies necessary. Thanks for asking the question. I got about 2 years (less than 1,500 miles) out of my passenger side boot from Rockwell (from late 2015 to August 2017). I went in deep water following Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. Afterwards, I found a ~3" slit in the passenger...
I look forward to this event every year! I'll be there... and with the goal of sleeping in my trailer for the first time!
Lincoln, thanks for setting everything up.
I can't wait to see old friends and meet new ones!
I hate to point out the obvious, but your tanks have clearly been bobbed! They look like good restoration candidates. Has anyone ever un-bobbed a tank? I would love to get step-by-step instructions with lots of pictures.
This is a great suggestion if you can get your truck to Liberty Hill (northwest of Austin). Jason at militarytrucks.com is a good guy and knows his stuff.
