The sprayer dials down to spray camo. Takes practice and I use a piece of cardboard to test. 2 coats. I mark out with chalk. As for 1 galloon of base green. That is on a M1009. My other trucks have taken more.
Yes I was a sceptic at first. Remember it is a 30 day cure time to be safe.
I painted...
First complete coat. Looks splotchy until I get the next coat. I will wait 24 hours to start number 2 coat! I found a couple of blemishes that I will take care of before another coat. Previous runs I did not see.
How much paint? If that was the question? The M1009 will take a gallon or Behr Premium Ultra Flat Exterior 34094 is 383 Green.
The Black and Brown will be around 1/3 Gallon.
No Floetrol with the sprayer. I reduce with water about 1 cup to 2 pints. Depends on weather. I have been winging it to come up with the best formula. My buddy told me that If I over thin it I will have to add more coats. I use Floetrol with a brush if I have to touch up.
I have seen M900 series in the past with 395's. What wheel did they use and how were the 395's for use?
Not my truck but found on another thread.
Thanks!
