    M37 Barn Find

Got the truck running! Yippee, yahoo!!! Now that that's out of my system... Manual choke cable had more wiggles than a belly dancer. Fortunately I have a brand new one. The automatic choke is fubared (I should have said that firstly). The wiring under the dash looks like one of those garter...

M52A2W Buying Opportunity.. Good or Bad?

Climb underneath and look for your drive shafts. A really important one is the short shaft without which a lot of nothing occurs. Nice rig! I bought mine from a rural fire station. It's a M52A2 turned into a tanker. I dumped the water tank and have slowly been returning it to stock. Good luck!

    M37 Barn Find

Looks like it was manufactured from 1957 thru 1967. It uses Champion RJ12YC. Still looking for a replacement fuel pump, tune up kit, probably water pump and maybe new belts.

    M37 Barn Find

Eureka I have found it! The number is on the front of the engine on the passenger side just below the head in really big numbers. According to the net source I found, it's number is 2468230, which indicates the motor is a 318 of the A family of MOPAR engines. Now to find the year codes so's I...

    M931A2 Eastern Surplus

I'm no barracks lawyer but slinging mud without documented, public knowledge that has been vetted is looking for a law suit. I have been and will continue being a customer of Eastern and have been satisfied with their service. I shop around for part, price and condition. I buy the best deal I...

    M37 Barn Find

I've got to dig into the truck and get more pics.

    M37 Barn Find

thank you! The distributor is on the back. Does that indicate it's 318 or something smaller?

    War Wagon

That's one good looking truck! The .50 mounts are a work in progress. Since I open the truck bed for people, mostly kids, I set mine to maximize internal space. As time and money allow, I'll continue modifying them till I get them just right. As for the rear mount, I plan on buying one more...

    War Wagon

Found my siren!!! It's a 6 volt, which I'll have to figure out how to power. War Wagon is still 24 volt.

    M37 Barn Find

Update: I spent the afternoon playing in the engine compartment and the battery box. The truck was converted to 12 volt. At first, the starter was disinclined to perform correctly. After repeated failed attempts for the starter to work, it fixed itself. The engine turns over nicely and I can get...

    1953 M37 parts

Jim, I PM'ed the seller for prices. It'd be pretty awesome if this worked. I'll let you know asap.

    1953 M37 parts

I'd like to get a hold of the engine/tranny but I live in SE Wyoming, got no way of getting them here.

    Hendersond's M38a1C

I've got 6 Humvee wranglers, 4 mounted, two dismounted and two partial rims. Got to sell them one of these days. It's either that or buy a humvee...

New owner of a 1986 CUCV but my third K5 Blazer

Looks real nice! I too have a 1986 M1009 Blazer. New tires and an aftermarket screw on fuel filter fixed drivability issues. I bought a radio rack and new floor covering. The original floor mat was pretty nasty and hid several small rust spots that'll need TLC before too long. Mine sits most of...

Just bought a MTV M1094 LVAD

Hmmm, gives me a few ideas... I wonder how well a War Pig mod would look with an M-35? Or maybe an M-52? I'll go way out there, a War Pig M-211! Your truck is one awesome looking truck!

    M37 Barn Find

So far the only rust is in the back of the bed, looks like the last reinforcement underneath will have to be replaced.

    F-4 Phantom & Phantom II Fighter (McDonnell-Douglas)

I was on A models from 82 to 85. I don't think there were any radar detectors on the market yet. I don't remember them coming out till the late '80's. The way we searched for incoming bogies was a bit more primitive. The Crew Chief and I pulled out the rear most cabin windows. We then lowered...

    M37 Barn Find

Haven't got that far yet. The previous owner apparently used the truck for hunting and as a bug out vehicle in case of a zombie apocalypse. I've removed probably close to 1,000 pounds of stuff from the cab and tool box. I've still got to clear out the bed, which has 6 or so chained up water and...

    F-4 Phantom & Phantom II Fighter (McDonnell-Douglas)

I got to watch a few take off from NAS Alameda while standing wheels watch. Every time, it was like getting hit with a wall of sound 🚀. Also, when we went to WTI at MCAS Yuma, we got to fight 2V2 CH-53's against various fighters. We liked fighting F-4's. You could see them coming from miles...
