true. but i could claim my brakes failed and pushed the man-bun wearing punk that 1 mile, actually less, bc the last 2/3 of a mile is private road. which I'm sure i could find a place to hide the body. of the car that is.
@Mullaney
if its just the ext boom and cyl., i wouldn't think it would weigh over 2000 lbs. iv gotta figure a way to release the tension on my other 936 hoist cable. its sucked up tighter than navy pelosi's purse strings, to a bumperette and i need to start yarding the crane section apart. id...
i haven't even got it registered yet. haven't decided which way to register, farm, former mil veh or normal tags. farm would be better, but only allows me a 150 mile radius, and my farm is 151 miles, but iv went to natchitoches, la with my farm trailer to recover a huge downed, pecan, weighing...
@Mullaney
how much the booms weigh? my tractor has 10' of height reach and 3000 lbs of capacity. if i ever have to do it, I'm thinking of how to do it too. plus its only the ext section that needs to get rmvd from the main boom right? the ext section can't weigh that much huh?
gotcha. Sorry, to far to drive my 936 to help you change your ext cylinder. Im sure it would make it from central tx, but damn the fuel and hotel bill.
I also put in 3 gallons of lucas stop leak to help with my seeping parts, which it did. But do NOT put 100 gal of oil. Im still puking oil out after operating the crane and hen i boomed down the first time after replacing all the fluid, it pissed out, i would imagine, 2-3 gallons and did that...
the manual says hdo 10, which is basically 10wt oil which is iso 32, which i got in 5gal buckets from tractor supply. You’ll just have to look on the buckets to find the iso or wait till someone finds it for you and replies . Im in south america and for some stupid reason, i cant pull up tsc’s...
that is what i thought, its been done, but couldnt for the life of me, find the thread.
Would you by chance have the nsn for the all in 1 cooler?
Its been nearly 10 yrs since i went to the mrap maint school at rrad, and we didnt cover all the systems, just enough to pass the writtens so we...
has it been successfully accomplished of permanently removing the aftercooler without installing an intercooler? Or would installing an intercooler be best? reading in the -10 TM, it says the aftercooler cools the air prior to entering the intake. Is coolant temp of 200+F cooler than the forced...
I too have an issue with free spool/engage lever. Iv had to use persuading tool to free spool it. My thoughts were the cable was to tight to allow any any “rocking” of the drum a d gears, to allow it to move the internals. After persuading it and leaving the cable loose, but setting and locking...
Try this for part #s

We use them and several other web based nsn p/n search engines to look up parts and alt number to source a vendor and get them on our auth vendor list for the faa.
Pretty nifty. But how do you reattach something that has never been installed? Wouldnt that simply be installing/attaching?
Dang sure could have used my wrecker a wk ago. Cal-Fire contract was over, getting our 53’ former race car, turned service trailer ready to head south, transfer our parts...
Iv had similar issues of loosing prime. My ip may be bad bc i can pump and when i hear fuel/air bubbles gurgling in the tank, i stop and it fires right up.
im assuming fuel isnt suppose to bypass something in the ip to allow fuel to return to the tank while using the primer pump.
wow, i can't believe they would make such minuscule changes between models. thanks for the info. hopefully they didn't change anything out and if not i found a 934a0/a1 expandable van. hoping it has the nhc 250, not the 8.3. i would much prefer the 809 series expandable, but a manual swap is...
gotcha, iv got an a2, haven't seen an a1 or a0 close enough to notice much difference. thanks for the insight.
what would be the dead giveaway on the axel diffs?
