It looks like the primary difference between the 3116 and the 3126 is the fuel delivery. The blocks are pretty much the same. Thus, the ability to transfer heat is similar and so is the longevity, from what I read.

Has anyone done water injection on these trucks with success? I would like to keep that EGT down. Larger aftercooler maybe?

Agree. I recently got my m1088 going and it pulls hard and fast with the stock gearing. Going with more hp and torque will likely cause issues in other areas.

I have seen a number of keyed ignition switches advertised by various military sellers. The ones that I have seen seem maybe a bit more expensive than the typical ignition switch. Is this some sort of special switch that handles 24 volts and high amps?

Governor is on the compressor at the engine. Mine did not require any adjustment.

Well Suprman was right. The hoses were reversed. It can be confusing. The new Haldex drier from Suprman has one feature I really like, a softer release of the air. Thus, it is much quieter in my neighborhood.
