You are probably right. How are the non ABS LMTV's in the snow? I never had ABS when I lived in MI. Parents could be heard screaming to children "Pump the brakes!" Lol. I know you can exhaust the air fast if you pump the brakes in an air system.

Right. I have the 12 ton, but what I am looking for is a cap for the top of the piston that looks like a piece of angle iron and prevents slipping off the frame or axle. If you look in the military manuals, it specifically recommends an adapter.
