    I took mine for a spin. Ran some errands. Even drove past the local National Guard base.

    Unless you're swapping in a 350 into a fully up armored unit, it wont be that bad. Hmmwvs arent all that heavy.

    The 6.2 was rated @ 330lbft @ 2200rpm, hardly a torque monster. You can make that torque figure almost effortlessly with a 350.

    Should be pretty easy. I'd probably look at the factory mounts from the civilian H1s. These trucks are like legos, you can basically do anything to them. As long as you dont use a low compression, smogged out slug of a 350, it should be pretty fun!

    Monster Transmission is pretty awful. They built their company on paid advertising and sponsoring tv builds. Not the first time I've heard of them using used and worn out parts in a "rebuilt" transmission.

    Yeah. I run adblock on everything now because most forums I'm on have switched to this new layout. Unfortunately, this site likes to tell me to turn adblock off with an annoying popup everytime I open a thread.

    The TH400 is one of ther best transmissions ever made. There's a reason they're found in a variety of vehicles, and are still being put into hotrods, race cars, off road vehicles and every day drivers.
