Sorry not from Texas. But a friend and I lost touch with a soldier from 1974+/- from Lubbock, that was stationed in Gelnhausen Germany with the 122 Maintenace Battalion. His first name is Rabdy and we would be gratefull if anyone might know him and help us get in touch.
Thank you for any help...
Hi Welcome from Mass! Like stated pictures help, without them everything is based on what you stated so far! The M275 was early Deuce Tractors, and not as many made, compared to the M35! The bed if you need it does matter, is it a M105 trailer bed or a cut down M35 bed, either way it will haul...
Cucv m1010
CUCVRUS should have a couple, but some of us did cut into that inventory. I had the stupid thing in my hand Sunday and can't remember if it is one part for both sides! Brain can't remember past 2 days anymore! Just checked the TM, same P/N 09-0965 for both sides, and picture looks...
I've looked into this and called many truck towing companies. If AAA of any service like Goodie towed you, then you are lucky. You must be an RV or motor home to be covered by most, AAA says it does not cover dual well trucks, again if you have then good for you! Of all the companies that do...
In school we were taught to run the boom up to the point just before it stops. Then push the lever in the other direction fully and quick. It'll always pop right in! That was from the school instructors. Never looked into why it does what it does, I just know it worked perfectly!uh
Mine are 4 years and still going strong. Plus in 30 years of service, we never switched them. Only once they were dead, and it was usually both.
Agreed. If your having that issue for some reason, I guess switching is better than killing one!
We named them after our supply sergeant who used surplus end of year money to try them out as Litter Transport Vehicles over rough fields. We called them LEB's (Litter Equipment Bearers).
They were a lot fast and more stable than a M-gator.
HQ's didn't like the idea and took them away!
Be aware that a ton of people sell BO lights with the rubber Packard connectors, If you want to be military correct these are not for cucv's, the correct ones for cucv's have a plastic GM connectors, CUCVRUS has them, and they can be found in ads, but you have to look!
