I ran a truck like you are thinking about doing. We drove it for 10k and had no oil issue. It got stuck real easy.

Check the air door that is controled by the temp slide on the dash. Leaves and trash stop them from closing and allow cold air to bypass heat core. We blow compressed air in all the heat ducks, tons of crud comes out. The heater works much better after cleaning.

Maybe i paid more money for my rims than outhers, but up north here the 200 a rim beats the heck out of just the ship cost from down south. Also the rims from oshkosh are realy nice, and i could pick the ones i wanted. It cost me 1600 total to do my 543, cheeper than ten 1100-20.

Yes the offsets are slightly differant, and yes the offset is differant than the 900 single. The split rim with 1600 tire are just wider than the front fenders. I read that sonone had clearance issues, but i have tried both with no rubbing.

Loosen the pump ,and crank the engine. IF the pump jumps up and down the arm is moving. your bench test may have moved the arm further, or in a differant spot than when on the engine. the pump can be shot in the area that it always works. i see a lot of pump falures. never the cam.

RE: M211 parts I have a pair of 221 in my fleet. we use them all the time. they are short and nimble. It is also quite rare. you need one. I drove my dump in the snow for firewood today. winter is too long to let the old gal sit, or she gets cranky.

i put the eng, trany,transfer out of a 86 4x4 chev pickup in a 211. i ran the output into the 211 transfer and did not use the 4x4 front axle outpt.
