While doing a post-trip inspection on my truck, I noticed some chafing/rubbing happening, and that's no bueno, so I went to my local parts house.
3/4" heater hose, 4 band clamps later, I have chafing gear...
I would post a "M/V Recovery route- any members along the way in case of trouble?" thread then post my route- towns along the way etc. Then be sure to update it as you travel.

I found a reference to it in a PS Magazine on the University of Florida's website. It's an upgrade to the power steering pump. The issue is the January 1970 issue. Attached are screen shots of the cover and relevant pages (16-17).

OH!!! May be a little late on the game, but headlights/marker/brakelights! Few, if any, parts houses will have the headlights you need due to simple supply and demand. There's not a lot of demand, so they don't supply them... 🤷♂️
Some may not work and you'll need them.

Tim, do you have a link to the new laws? Lots of confusing attachments in this thread, and I would love to have the actual law to read as I don't want to inadvertently get my eggs scrambled for not knowing the most current law.
As far as the VIN stenciling goes, I am in the process of titling my 5 ton and will be using the VIN method, so I will post my results when I either succeed or fail.
