Hammer and Aaron, don't worry your pretty heads, I will bring the 80 foot slave cable I got from Oso. That way I can be a 1/4 of a mile away and still be able to jump a rig in electrical distress.....rofl
I am not saying it can't be done as stated in the last two way.
But , the annular cutter/ plug cutter bits will put the pilot hole /step drill process to shame.
The annular bits lust cut away the perimeter of the hole where a set of regular drill bit have to remove the entire area of the hole...
Howdy from the other side, dry side, of the state.
Don't be in a rush, you either pay it now or later.
There are real deals out there if you can bring a derelict truck home and get her into shape.
But that again is pay now or pay later.
Also be warned there is a strange guy up in Stelacom...
We need to put a bunch of member dots on a map for the PNW and then find the epicenter and buy some land there for Rallies, camping and wheeling. A bug out compound wouldn't be a bad use either. 20 or so Steel soldiers manning the encampment.
Hmmmmmmmmmmm:tin hat:
Nope, Another recovery.
Snow anchor was near Grand Coulee coming form Omak.
Seems recoveries are just cursed......but fun.... and great to tell stories about once you have survived.rofl
Josh,
Your property isn't just south of Bickleton near the high tension power lines is it?
I am looking in that area for some more land, a buddy already has 20 acres up there.
Bad part is that dern canyon road from goldendale to bickleton, with the steep grade and the hair pin turn. I towed a...
Many thanx to Kevin. Good to meet another resourceful, hording MV collector.
Lots of work to do , but a great platform to do them on. Kevin just kept pulling out part after part, to give me, for the truck. Lots of great used spares and even more new parts.
Apparently the only part...
Great setup.
Did your water blocking filter have a stopcock to drain off the water?
Or do the filters just have a limited life time? When they are full of water, you toss them.
rlwm211,
Do you have any paint codes to share?
That was what I wanted this thread to turn into, a list of the various paint codes, so those that wanted to try, would have the correct colors to apply to their MVs.[thumbzup]
Well I thought I had a uship transporter lined up for a fair price on Friday. So Kevin/Oso was nice enough to make the pickup happen, but in the mean time we canceled the mini rally and Kevin scheduled some other obligations into the slots. Then this morning the transporter told me that he...
Silicone fluids are not miscible with water. It’s the classic oil and vinegar scenario.
DOT 5 Silicone, being less dense, tends to float on top of DOT 3.
So pour some dot X in a jar, then drain or turkey baster some brake fluid out of your rig and pour into the Dot X.
If it separates & you...
Glamor
Well there has been a little progress on stretching the top and welding up the drop side.
I was sunny for the first time in 2011 yesterday so I pulled the beast out of the pole barn and did some glamor shots.
:pEnjoy.
Hammer/Ed,
That is some very useful information. I would have never considered short term insurance. Your a good guy. Likes to cut the corners like I do. A thinker. So any suggestions on what companies do the short term insurance?
Also I am still considering having the truck shipped. Are...
What exactly is double clutching or at least your definition of double clutching?
Pushing the clutch in and out two times?
How does that help anything that didn't work the first time?
:lost:
Nice dirty truck pix.
But I thought you were going to be working on your trailer camper build.
Are you gonna make it in time for the Napavine PNW Rally?
