    Deuce rust locations

As I see most areas have been mentioned, the rocker panels if you will bottom of the cab under the door, the doors, under the fenders at the lip edge and under the bed edges and any cross supports underneath the bed. What did you do to your deuce this week?

Nothing special, homemade, just a couple pieces of channel iron with a lip to lay flat on the bed and a tab to slide in the tailgate gap! They are rusty now, will clean them up when the warmer weather hits. If ya really want to see them I can get pictures in a few days!

What have you done to your JEEP today

Yes and also who you were, I did hundreds of vehicles over my career and I never used vinyl, I always preferred the painted look. Still do, but instead of a spray can, I think I'll try a new way I read here on SS is to use a micro roller, might help with over spray! Although, if we didn't have...

What have you done to your JEEP today

We used to set the brass stencil up, then trace it onto a somewhat stiff folder/cardboard/oil board stock, then cut the letters out with a razor blade and then apply to truck, some times needing an extra hand or two or masking tape to hold an end. You still had issues if the roundness was...

What did you do to your deuce this week?

So, minus 8 over night, my civilian truck wouldn't start, but of course the Ole Deuce did, 5 degrees and she started with just a few cranks! And the 1974 style MASSTER'S paint scheme still holding out!

What have you done to your JEEP today

When we took the head off we did notice pitting around the suspected cylinder, we did a new head gasket after cleaning the best we could get, we checked the torque twice, after a could of flushes we noticed it was not get ting better. We pulled plugs and #3 was spitting out antifreeze! It won't...

What have you done to your JEEP today

Bad news for us! Antifreeze still coming into cylinder. So we need to have it fix, or find a used or rebuild, I know they sell rebuilds, but gotta save some big money for that! :-(
