the federal govt is what made machine gun prices go up. They banned the manufacture of new MGs avialable to the public and thus limited supply.

No offense to the original poster but what you are planning is considered a hack job by most people. A better option might be to go with a duramax and auto tranny. This is a combination that did come in the last year of the H1

So why did you feel the need to give your purchase price? You got ripped a new one if you actually paid that for it. It is a project truck. The mods you are planning to do will not make it worth any more than what it is. Yes I do have a HMMWV. good luck
