    M2 equaliberator mount tech data

Mount TM I'm sorry I haven't been able to help with the TM. If memory serves me, yes, that is the correct TM. I've looked just about everywhere I can think of but alas, no TM. I recommend you get a copy, it'll help. As far as necessary, the hardest part is the spring. Be very careful with...

    Very Large Air Filter

I came across an air filter I can't determine its application. The only info on it is Baldwin PA2538, anyone come across one of these that can identify it? Pics below. There's a pic of each end, a full size pic of it and a comparison pic matched up next to a M35 filter. many thanks

    M2 equaliberator mount tech data

I got the manual from eBay ofi remember correctly. I found two sources of the mount, one was the all purpose mount book and the .50 M2 operation and maintenance book. Once I find it again (I have a very large number of TM books), I'll post its TM #. Ive had my eye on one of those froze up...

Any Gun Trucks in Western U.S.?

Change to the plan: I've built a gun truck called War Wagon after a M35 from the 35th Transportation Co. It's a n evolving project, as I find parts and props I'll add them. Here's a photo:

G749 Trucks hard to come by

I used the pins from one of my M35's to attach the... Hmm, drawing a blank here...them thingies that attach to the tie-down ring mounts and the tow bar. Anyway, they fit good with minimal play and I got the 211 home with zero issues. It was roughly a 10-15 mile journey.

G749 Trucks hard to come by

Only advice I can give is never back up when the tow bar is hooked up. With hendersonj's expertise, the towing of my 211 went pretty uneventful.

    Gun truck build questions

I learned a lesson over the weekend. Actually a couple. First off, the GI ladder for access to the bed is not the optimal choice. Not sure how to replace it yet but I don't want to chance someone breaking bones because the fell off the ladder. Second lesson, I've got to come up with a good tarp...

    M1009 starting problems

this was the method I used to confirm the box filter had some kind of leaf. Bypass the filter and direct the fuel directly to the engine.

    M1009 starting problems

If you still have the box fuel filter, that is probably your problem. I had the exact same issue. I replaced almost everything in the fuel system and still had the same problem. I even tried to find a replacement box filter mount. I learned that the M880 series Dodge box filter will not work...

G749 Trucks hard to come by

Not sure. I'll be putting it side by side with my other truck and use the TM to figure everything out. I'll have to make a hard decision. Do I make the '54 complete or the '58. The '54 has an unknown leak in the engine cooling system but appears to have a good tranny. The '58 has a seized...

G749 Trucks hard to come by

M211 pics Here's some pics of the M211 I got yesterday. The cab is in very rough shape as is the hood. The rest of the truck is in better condition than my original 211. My initial thought is to use the '54 as the donor truck by swapping out the cab and hood on the new truck. The place I got...

    M1009 starting problems

It sounds like a problem I had. All the same symptoms. After many tribulations I narrowed it down to the fuel filter. If you have one of the POS rectangular stock fuel filters, there may be a hairline crack, which causes fuel pressure prime to drop and you cannot start the engine except thru...

    M66 Gun Ring Assembly

I did a search on the TM 9-1005-245-34&P and there's a couple sites with that TM. I don't believe they're downloadable but I'm not computer savvy enough to figure it out. The copy I saw said distro C, which makes you wonder "What the ????
