My suggestion would be. Do all your maintenance and fluid changes and drive it awhile and make sure it’s sound before making modifications. You make mods before it’s proven you don’t know if the problem came from the mod or was an issue before. I’m still doing maintenance and working thru stuff...
Big pieces eat the little pieces! Don’t worry about it because they have been floating around forever. Hahaha I was always told that and it never made me feel any better…
That’s pretty awesome! Thanks for sharing.
Would you happen to know what country they are made in? I was looking at a belt tensioner from you guys but it was out of stock.
I ordered a power steering filter from genuine hummer parts. 12.00 for filter and 18.00 for shipping. Whata a ripoff. Cheapest I could find the filter was 38.00 but I hate paying more for shipping than the part. I want to change my fluid because it doesn’t look bright pink anymore. I will...
I’m looking now and it’s pretty overwhelming if you have no idea what you are looking at. I would like to have one with enough storage to hold them all. I seen a few with 500gb and 1tb of storage and that should be plenty.
What is the window swap file you said that I will need? Hahaha I’m stupid...
I was looking at some Black Friday laptops yesterday but I was concerned about having enough storage but from what you said about pdf size a 300 or 400 dollar laptop should be more than enough. I’m not sure about used route with the prices of new last year models. I have a Mac but it won’t let...
I was able to get the big outer nut off and once it was loose I didn’t have anything to hold on to and it was turning the engine over and it made me wonder if it was reverse threads. Definitely needs an impact and I’m dreading taking that beast off.
So does #10 have to come out to get the pulley off? I have looked in the TM’s and it’s not clear to me. I don’t know how you would get it out. TM’s said put it in a soft jaw vise but that was for the normal nut holding pulley on
I believe that’s why they don’t recommend silicone for fuel lines. They shore do look purdy though. They will never weep enough to make a difference in coolant levels if you do routine maintenance.
Clamps have metal all the way around so the slots don’t contact the silicone if I remember correctly
I noticed that my leg was on the side of the tunnel and I was amazed how hot it was and it would have burned it if I left any longer. I was underneath removing my shifter after that. I was thinking about freeing up the resonator restrictions and wrapping the exhaust from end of Y-pipe to the...
I don’t know anything about it but I do know that sand cars have quick disconnect for their whips and flags. Tribal whips probably has stuff. I’m not sure that’s what you are looking for but probably not a bad place to start. I just googled tribal whips quick disconnect and I got lots of options...
I wish I could afford it in book form. I have the tag on my truck that tells me the exact ones I need. I’m trying to get a new computer just for my Humvee and the TM’s because it’s miserable on my phone. I love paper lol. I have out lived my technological capabilities
I got this outer nut off but now I have that threaded stud/bolt still in there and it doesn’t look like the pulley will slide over it. I didn’t see anything like this in the TM?
So this small nut inside the larger one removes the pulley itself. I haven’t seen a diagram that shows what I have and that’s why I was reluctant to remove it. So I get the pulley off and I can spin the shaft and if it still makes noise it’s the shaft. If not it’s the pulley? That’s how I am...
