I think they went straight to a -24-1 and -24-2 to go with the -24P parts manual.

It's a circuit breaker. If a wire shorts out, it's supposed to trip before you burn up the whole truck.
It's just the wire/breaker through which the transmission control module gets it's power. Without it you're stuck in 2nd gear limp mode.
Unfortunately it takes however long it takes. SF-97s can sometimes take a couple months, but it isn't unheard of for them to take up to a year (not common, but does happen)

the higher pressure unit is supposed to be for the Sheppard steering box, not the standard one you have.
It would probably work, but higher pressure would mean higher chance of failure to the steering box as it isn't designed for the extra pressure.

I'll agree with not really needing it for civilian use.
With the rubflat lubricant you can run 30 miles at 30 miles per hour.
In the civilian world, you just need to get to the nearest safe spot to either change the tire, or to get recovered.
One other thing, your truck does require a 12V feed to power the transmission control module.
The 60 amp gen and aftermarket 24V alternators do NOT have a 12V feed.

The transmission will do fine with either DEX VI or DEX III. They will both work the same for you.
