There is a guy here in my town that is a wizard of welding. He welded an ear back on a transmission bell housing from nothing to start with. It has been 3 months and still holding. Find someone around you that can weld aluminum and I bet you can get that fixed for just a small amount of $$

I can't tell if the injector pump is there either, I am hoping! I am just trying to get a WAG on what all I am gonna need to get her going. Assuming the engine isn't toast.

Im interested in seeing where the decontamination bottle was mounted. I havn't been able to confirm any standardized location yet. My M1008 came from GSA as well.

Thanks, NSN says 2320-01-123-2671 Looking at the bed I can see where the radio rack mounts were so I am pretty sure you are correct. Mine was a radio truck and the door got switched out at some point. Thanks for the help for this newb to the Mil vehicle world.

Sorry, I know this is an old thread but I just got an m1008 (GSA says it was but the plate on the door says 1030 even though it has a normal bed on it with four antenna mounts on it and a slave receptacle on the passenger interior side of the bed) but anyway that bottle mount is behind driver...
