Since TM's are a matter of public record, might the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa SCAN a copy and upload it for the public to access???
Just wonderin'.
Somehow, I never expected the SS Forums to turn into a Classical Literary Review chat room.
But then again, I never imagined that these ol' Army trucks would bring together such a diverse brotherhood of men - and women - into one common "troupe" of troops.
Carry on.
Ferro,
You serve this nation in a thankless job. Those horrible things to which you are at risk are beyond the comprehension of John Q Public.
Please know that you are in our prayers as well as your fellow train drivers and crews.... AND you have our appreciation and SALUTE. Your contributions...
Pondering this concept and a "What If" scenario....
What if your second parasite fighter "in the rack" gets RED TAGGED ???
Do you just jettison the crippled craft that's blocking the queue?
AND...
As with naval aircraft carriers, operationally, how many of your parasites will be required just...
A short answer...
All 50 states participate (have signed onto) a reciprocal agreement which essentially says that the LAWS, and the conditions/restrictions/allowances, of the State of Issuance apply for registration and licensing purposes. Hence, if you are properly licensed in Texas, and your...
This gem of a video popped up on my YouTube suggested for viewing list.....
So, I watched it.
Pretty interesting bit of USAF/DOD history that I'm sure Boeing received a juicy contract to research and propose.

HMMM......
I've just sprayed some WD-40 on my shovel and will re-read those sections you've highlighted for us.
Seems our jury is still deliberating on this.
Is there any "SLIME" inside the fuel filter canisters when you've had them open?
If so, the culprit might be ALGAE. This will require a THOROUGH fuel system cleaning and treatment with a product such as SEAFOAM - available at NAPA, AUTOZONE, O'REILLY's, etc..
That SLIME is algae and can clog...
Short answer:
TxFMV's "SHALL be registered" regardless of the age of the vehicle.
Long answer:
Please refer to the TxFMV LAWS thread linked in my Signature Block below. The various paragraphs of the many applicable LAWS are discussed and filleted there. It's pretty easy to digest, but time...
Found the time to read through the bill last evening, and have re-read it this morning.
I agree that the Bill as signed has little to no effect upon the FMV Laws of the State of Texas so long as "radical modifications" have not been made to the vehicle(s).
Th only area I would question is the...
Thank you, 98G, for that well thought and equally well written summation of this incident.
This is the essence of why we respect and are so appreciative of our first responders in every discipline - Police, Firefighters, Medics, etc..
Not everyone is willing to run TOWARD danger. These brave...
OK, Tony.... Confession time! Tell us what YOUR mom never knew you did down by the railroad tracks.
BTW, as I believe, when Mom arrived in heaven all, yes ALL of my nondisclosures were made known to her.... and Dad was probably right next to her laughing and saying, "That's my boy!"
FYI, my...
Luv U 2 Ahab!!!
Not a game of "one-up-man-ship" here.
I'm just reminded again that "There but for the grace of God" Darwin would have thinned the herd pretty radically our childish mis-steps.
Thanks to GOOGLE EARTH I have returned to the old neighborhood. Those tracks upon which we played...
FLASHBACK ALERT !
Ahab, you just reminded me of what was probably my most stupid train episode.
At about 13 years of age a few of us climbed upon UNDER a railroad trestle and, while a train was lumbering overhead, we dared one another to stick our head(s) up between the ties.... Dang...
Maybe I'm missing something here...
Are you talking about a Pioneer Tool Rack? Or, are these individual brackets?
For what vehicle, please?? (I presume for a Mutt, but I'm still unfamiliar with such a critter.)
Thanks.
