other than too much fluid is there any reason I would have pwr steering fluid pumping out of the vent hole on my M816? The fluid level seems fine when checked. However the truck is pumping quite a bit out of the vent. The steering is working fine. thank you in advance.

hndrsonj is 1000% correct. i have done this sevaral times without any issues. BTW. i'm the guy who originally had the truck in question.

Some of your problem is the tires. the old bias tires are crap and most likely have flat spots. Also the they will most likely have the old magnesium run flats in them which adds to the problem.

the forms involved in registering a DD are no more difficult than a EUC. Depending upon the weapon you can do it yourself across state lines if you have a C&R license and the weapon is on the C&R list. the 155 in question would not even need paperwork if the breech is demilled.
