I know exactly what it is because I had the exact thing happen to me. There is a hole in a metal plate inside the oil pan. The dip stick has to pass thru the hole to get to the oil resevoir. I straightened my dip stick out and even bent it a tad opposite the direction it kept getting bent in...

I went to change my oil and found that soldier A stripped the drainplug and instead of changing the pan, gobbed on a ton of thread tape. I'm lucky the drainplug didn't shoot out during a road trip. I had another drainplug but the pan threads were bad and stripped the second drain...

My M105 trailer has the older, round tail lights "see first picture". My understanding is that they are not compatable with my M35A2 and composite lights "see second picture". I plugged the trailer into my truck and have running lights, hazards, left blinker, NO right blinker and pushing on...

March, May...whatever...they both start with "M" though!

Went to the Riverside airshow. There was a nice turnout of military trucks...mostly jeeps. Great group of folks and a very cool airshow.

I noticed mine leans about 1-1 1/2" to the left from ground to fender. I also attribute it to spring fatigue as the distance between the leafs and the frame equates to the same 1-1 1/2". I inspected the springs and none are broken. I may re-arch or replace a few to improve the leaning in the...
