When I did my h2 lights they were really bad and cleared over which is the worst thing you can do. They were expensive to replace and hard to find. I started with 1000, 2000, and 3,000 then polished with that harbor freight headlight kit and they looked brand new. I’m really starting to enjoy...
I took my side turn signals off and touched up the paint and wet sanded and polished the lens. Lens is good quality and came back to life. I ordered some stuff. Trying to get the military batteries and I had to fill out end user agreement and provide a PO and set up a business account all while...
I’m waiting for my title now and they said 90 days. I thought 150.00 for a normal title was a bargain and once you have on road title it should be easier to register. I’m nervous a little bit and worse case I will have to move. Lol everything is so hard with these vehicles and it’s like they are...
I would only buy the military x-doors! I think the others can be problematic with fit and quality of the hardware. I just pieced together a set of x-doors and looked at all the aftermarket stuff and got scared. The price for the x-doors are not much more than the aftermarket doors. I don’t like...
I was just out messing with the seats in the rear and if I had it to do again I wouldn’t use them. I would probably recover the high back seats. They fit perfect. It’s like each seat has its own issue that you have to resolve and the stockers just drop right in.
I have the caravan or Pacifica seats and I’m just start to play around with fitting. I can tell you that front passenger is tight. I will remove the armrest on the door side so seat can go back further and that gives you more room for the seat at the tunnel. It also is tight with the seatbelt...
It sucks but what can you do when you have to have it for your own protection. This is my 6th vehicle and I can’t possibly use all 6 very often. I will be thinning out the heard a little bit and that will help ease the pain of registering and insuring stuff I don’t need. I have all old stuff...
Did an online quote from Hagerty today and it came back with 241.00 to start and 86.00 a month or 991.00 a year. Not restrictions and seems to be good coverage. I’m probably going to go that route because it’s the only route I have found. I didn’t want to do a separate policy because I thought...
I got my quote and they want 132.00 a month and they only cover whatever I destroy of someone else’s and they don’t fix or replace my stuff. So I’m paying twice the amount for 1/2 the coverage. I pay 215 a month for my blazer, h2, and 2 Roadkings full coverage and big coverage.
State Farm called me this morning and said they will insure it and asked for replacement cost and said that they will have numbers for me shortly. I called them Friday and told him that I know for a fact that you insure this vehicle in other states and if he could submit it again to a more...
I understand, but I don’t understand why it belongs in a place where you can’t get any help. Might as well ask the question on the Tesla forum. Why can’t Hmmwv insurance be a sticky? I bet more are insured than have grounding harnesses. I apologize for being uptight but I have a lot of money...
That’s what I have been curious about for a long time. I can build a car in my garage out of junk parts and weld up a frame put any engine in it I want and I can get it registered here with ease. I just shake my head because I don’t have any answers as to why they are willing to look the other...
Hahaha.. that’s funny right there. Don’t talk about insurance it’s the Devil. I’m sure that rates differ from state to state and even cities and towns within each state but I’m pretty sure that the vehicle you can get insured in Florida will be able to be insured in all 54 states… lol the dems...
See I’m with State Farm for like 11 years and never had a ticket or a claim, well other than when the preacher was screwing the hockey player and fell off the roof. That was not my fault and I even warned them not to wear skates and golf shoes on a tile roof! Hahaha
Isn’t the goal here to have the most civil interaction and generate more information and participation? Or is the goal to move threads where they get the least help and minimal participation and problems are solved before you ever get a reply? This thread is the perfect example to look at to...
