I doubt that Belgium has a "Freedom of Information Act" through which this curiosity might be appeased.
Excellent question though. I just doubt we'll ever hear "The Rest of the Story".

Prayers over all for this event!
Heavenly Father,
Seems You are SO faithful, looking over those deploying to this event even before we chime in to ask Your provision and protection.
God, You are GOOD ! ! !
Please continue to watch over everyone as the travel to and fro, and as they blaze some...
Our prayers go UP for the family of the driver who perished.
We pray as well for the Deuce driver, Mr. Ian Soelberg, who was injured.
Does anyone know if Mr. Soelberg is a Member of the SS Forums???

Uh, what to you consider the BIG one??
<--- This is the BIG one we got when we acquired our XM818. The MSO used it on their APC's.
<--- Here's our BIG one next to the rear drivers on the XM818.
<--- Here's a good comparison between that "big" tow bar for a Deuce or 5-Ton next to the BIG one...
I can relate.

I'm sure the designers had a reason to keep the trucks height to a certain specification...
IF your MV is registered as a TxFMV (Texas Former Military Vehicle) then most probably certain aspects of the OPERATOR'S VEHICLE INSPECTION KNOWLEDGE will be perceived by the Testing Official (may not be a SHE) as NON-COMPLIANT with current production vehicle standard since most MV's pre-date...
