I only learned a couple of years back that a lot of the area farmers here with land on the rivers (VA, MD, the Mid-Atlantic), typically made bricks in the off-season.
It was their cash "crop" during the non-growing months. Kind of cool to know about.
I'm kind of remembering reading about that area, and that it was traditional Comanche territory (you know back "in the day").
Do you know anything about that, like if that's right?
Wondering what makes you say that:
- Is it maybe because they work (aviation electronics), but take a whole lot of maintenance to ensure that they work?
- Something else?
Burn injuries are horrible, not that any injury isn't.
A buddy of mine from childhood messing with a train sustained third-degree burns over 75% of his body when we were youngsters.
Statistically he "should" have died.
He recovered, and he's fine now, does house painting and paper-hanging...

Do you know how the ships like the Boulder operate?
Is that bow ramp for personnel, or vehicles (both?), and is it designed to be run up onto the beach?
I wasn't trying to be funny, I just don't know the BBQ story in FL.
I know the program in NC, and I know the story in TX, but I really don't have a clue what folks all do in FL. :shrugs::beer:
First thought to mind about the "5:00" position vs "7:00" position is reversing:
- does the set-up allow for the possibility of reversing the installation of the mechanism at all?
Does that make any sense?
