Those are not for use with potable water. I know they come on a trailer for potable water. A PS mag say that they should be replaced with NSN 4510-01-433-0396 p/n's C-138BR.75 , YC-453 , 12406415 ,7034881 or HB39 . These are a plain old faucet with the handel on top. I think I like the...
So I got my M149A2 home the other day ,Thanks Wilber for getting it off post[thumbzup].
It's been picked clean as far as the plumming goes, even the air and brake lines and all that goes with that is gone. But this was in the GL pic's so I knew this going in.
From what I found it seems the...
5th grear rides on a bushing with lip on one end. These can get damage then the grear moves too far. You need to pull the top cover and take a look. The sooner the better only will make thing wosre if you leave it.
I still don't see why it takes 2-3 too make one?!?!? New eng, new trans, new tires and wheels, axles are new or reworked? All they need is the frame, bed and cab. It's not like its longer or 4 door or a 12x12 or any thing like that.:roll:
Maybe they rebuilt 1 and sold 2 under the table??:-|
Any one know what size pipes I need?? I need to replace every thing and have no idea what was there to start with. The inside of the tank is nice and clean.
Well this is an oldie but in stead of starting a new thread I'll add too this one. The G-835 2 1/2 ton 6X6 trucks seem to have come in all the same typs as the M44's. If they were just for export why is there a US TM for them. And why did we make other stuff to go with these and include them in...
Thanks Bob that make me feel better about the 33113. I got the 33540 as well. I looked up a bunch of this stuuf a few years back and must have saved back then. I just used up the ones I had (33511,33512's)and ordered what was on my saved list at www.filter1.com
Got new catalogs from them...
OK some how I saved 33113 to my list of filter for the deuce. So when I ordered some more filters that is what I got:oops:. I looked in the center of it and thought great they fixed/changed the filter so it would work better on the deuce. It has like tabs in the center to hold it in place...
Start now soaking the tracks with PB Blaster. Spray them for a few days atleast. Go around it with a BFH tapping the track joints also. If the tracks don't roll I don't think the 5 ton will move it.
Yes the M129 has the same insulation as the M146. The M127 is the flat bed, there is also a M128 van but it does not have windows. With any of these trailer I would remove and replace the insulation. With 30-40 years of who knows what in that stuff , just think mold and CS and who knows. Some...
I drove mine abut 600 miles one day at about 50-53mph. The limit was the tires boncing at over 53mph so bad that the cooler on the seat next to me was getting air. The truck ran fine, did not have any probles with faster trafic either. Not sure on mpg but around 5-6 seems about right. But by the...
