I would take that truck back to Eastern Surplus. He paid a premium and got something well below that. He could haved bought a truck right there in Jax and gotten the same or most likely a better truck for a lot less
Off the vehicles I have owned and its a bunch, the Mule is by far the most usefull MV I have had. I use mine almost daily to run around my property and haul loads. It will carry 900lbs of cargo. And for a MV shows it comes in very handy moving stuff about in a small area. The price for a...
i spoke to a member of the National Guard unit who turned the trucks in. He said nothing was wrong with the vehicles they were required to drain them. He stated this was to have ben done all along but now its bieng inforced. Who knows?
For the record I have picked up over 10 trucks and...
No offense Clint and yes I do have a mity fine cowbot hat:)...... the on site GL employe indicated the truck wold run with a boost verfired by lot number. The worst thing is the missing plugs. I'm going to a scrape yard today to hope fully score a few.
Clint you bettter add a large assortment of drain plugs to your kit. You can bring all the fluids you want but with no plugs in the truck you won't be going very far. This is not my first Rodeo.
Was not indicated in the sell that all fluids drained. found paper work in the glove box where is was road tested in may and signed off on. Everthing is new under the hood, new tires also. Just no fluids. the difs and transfer case are full however, Engine, tranny, and power steering all empty...
I'm the "victim" in this one. the truck had drain pans sitting under it. Worst of all all the drain plugs that were removed were not replaced or stored in the truck. They are missing!
At the end of the day if you want a truck that looks like a M35 that will do 75mph, stop well, and ride fairly decent you would be better off to swap the cab over to a road tractor of some sort. The m35 is a slow 6x6 militry truck and no matter what mods you do to the truck the improvemnts will...
this was from GA . I think you will be seeing more of this from National guard turn-ins. My main problem is missing drain plugs. and of course the $$$$$$ to put the fluids back in.
Got my 5 ton 818 home today. The trucker called me this morning to let me know all the fluids had been drained ( in my years of buying surplus trucks never had this done to me was supposed to run according to GL on sight rep.) any how all the freakin drain plugs are missing from the vehicle...
