Official 2017 Ga. Military Vehicle Rally info thread. Oct. 18-22, 2017

I seem to recall that prior year's events entertained the rumor that the SS RAILROAD Contingent might steam into the compound. This neighborhood strife banter could foster resentment from the other side of the TRACKS ! Can't y'all just live and let live, come together in peace, and put aside...

Hmmm..do you like low flying aircraft?....then here ya go!

They wanted orange smoke, but it was cost prohibitive and clashed with the blue sky in the background. OK - all kidding aside.... I believe you are correct. EIGHT early evolution jets were now nearly as clean-burning and efficient as their subsequent generational descendants.

XB-70 Valkyrie - Mach 3+ Bomber (North American)

The XB-70 was one of the first model airplanes I ever assembled by myself - though still under the watchful eyes of my Dad. The finished product hung from my bedroom ceiling until I vacated that room to go to Basic Training. With it's landing gear extended she was frozen in a steep climbing...

    "Rescued" M816 Wrecker

I'd like to see some SERIOUS ENGINEERING ANALYSIS on the TORQUE MOMENT and DOWNWARD FORCES on the latch mechanism that engages your King Pin with this design concept. Essentially, I see a FULCRUM effect with the pivot point being the leading edge of the trailer's Plate and Chassis. The Pintle...

    "Rescued" M816 Wrecker

Another thought would be to simply buy/borrow/use a DOLLY. Hitch the dolly to the Pintle Hook, back the Dolly's Fifth-Wheel under your "new" trailer, connect air and power, and pull away. No fuss. No muss.

M 931A2 no START after vacation , will have you in stitches

May I suggest you organize a little FAMILIARIZATION CLASS, and then have "Graduates" conscripted as your MOTORPOOL SECURITY FORCE, thus delinquency into purpose. I have the neighborhood kids on my security team. If anyone of them sees something out of sorts, they have my phone number. In...
