I've got a PU-619/M. That is 2 10kw gas gen on a M103. 1 has that vale and 1 does not. The set was rebuilt in 81 both gen are date from the 60's.

The stock heater that is used in the truck will work when driveing. And it puts out a lot of heat. Plus it uses the same fuel as the truck, so you do not need to take extar fuel.

The 14are to tall. They are 49.5" the rear axles are only 48" apart. With the 49.5" tires you would have a 3" overlap. You mite beable to force them on the truck, but it would not move very good at all.

The "8" is the bridge classification number. A M35A2 is a 6 empty and 8 loaded.

The sprag should have 2 shift shafts on the front. The air one will have like a round tube with a sq. cover with 4 long bolts on the front. Clear as mud right, if I had a pic it would be real easy to tell.

I rebuilt mine all new seals sand blasted repainted, new top and back plate from OD. And it still leaks :twisted:

The 2 M818 I got from OKC 1) came from KS NG and the other came from a unit in the NE like main or some place out that way?? Why it got moved all the way OKC I have no idea.

Both of my 818's have a diferent type of 5th wheel and has alot more side to side rocking to them. They are thicker too. I'll post pic tomrow. So with all these truck does this mean you will be able to drive an army truck to the rally next year. :P

One thing to keep in mind is it can be hard to find parts for military trailers. You just don't run to the auto parts store. Another thing is they are ALOT heavyer compared to a civi trailer of the same size and load rateing.

I use the emg. glad hand all the time.
