Dude.
We LOVED our M38A1. It was so awesome.
I would have driven it every day as a daily driver IF I could have afforded the $1K for the overdrive kit. With the 5.38 gears, you are pretty limited in terms of cruising speed.
But, they get great mileage, they are super easy to get in and out...
There literally half a dozen threads which very thoroughly list the pros and cons of each model and many members who owned each (and several who own both) commented on the threads.
I would start your search with a phrase of something like "A2 vs. A3" or "M35A2 AND M35A3 AND versus" or something...
That was a fun day.

You can also hear ss member rdixiemiller in the background.

Dude.
It's just short of 90 miles from my front door to the Morgans place. Dad met me @ 0700 and we planned on hitting a McDonalds for breakfast. Nowhere in our 90 mile trek did we pass a McD's. We had to go about 10 miles out of our way to get food, then backtrack. When is the last time...
I wanted to thank mdmorgan and mdmorganwife for helping clintogf and I out by recovering 2 trucks from Warner Robins and holding them at their beautiful estate. They were very gracious hosts and very helpful.
I had complete trust that the trucks would be properly moved and was not...
This is an appropriate thread, as lowriderbird is asking who sells the tires he needs, versus just posting a wanted ad directly in the forums.
You guys should see the frame off resto he is doing, it is impressive.
7.50X20's are the US6 / CCKW tire of WWII. I doubt PaTracy or Hundy will have them.
