Given all the problems AND the hack jobs, why would you guys even consider keeping these vehicles that have been sitting unattended for so long?
I would ask for a full refund PLUS INTEREST!
I think anyone who accepts these vehicles is in for a bad surprise and will regret not getting their...
You're in a great place AND I agree...Change nothing and live your life. If the neighbor becomes a problem threatening HOA action, you can consider sending a note to the HOA that casually mentions harassment and legal action against the HOA.
I would place cameras in the truck to see who the...
Agreed. Furthermore, bleeding lock to lock a few times then letting sit overnight cured all my power steering jerkiness when it ran dry and needed a refill.
I went through this with my HOA. My vehicle is clean and properly insured and registered, so I threatened the HOA with a law suit for harassment They saw the light and told the neighbor in question to stop.
As far as your issue...
An anonymous note is a cowards way out.
They probably don't...
I remember those days.
My buddy never listened to advice and worked with that stuff with no mask and no gloves at his auto interior shoppe for years. He's now dying of prostate cancer.

Thanks RWH
"O" rings are easy to find at most auto shoppes. remove your part and bring it to auto store to fit the correct size. Should be a snug fit, like a rubber band. Not too tight, or it will tear with time. Not too loose or it will never fit back in.
Best,
