As it seems a few on here are/were gun truckers. How do you feel about non gun truckers making replica gun trucks. I've been wanting too make one also, some time down the road. But don't want to ofend any one. I know that the crews of these trucks did alot and gave alot and just want them...
To move more sand you need alot more air. Like supermechanic said a big diesel aircompressor is needed for anything bigger than one of those 10-20 gal size blaters that you get at a place like HF. And even those need a good 7 1/2HP or better aircompreesor. Well I should say a 20-30 CFM out put...
I got lucky and got a M109A3 with the air asst. and I love it but unless I just had alot of $$, Idon't think I would put one on. My other trucks still have hand power and I still drive them. If you have such tight spaces you mite want to rethink a deuce, they are not vere nimble.
Igot a brand new one from the OEM Olympic Controls. And yes it took some time to get, 30-45days. I swaped a pump out of a parts truck into the runner that had the bad pump. So I have a new spare now.
Medlog how hard is it for you to look up the trucks unit history?? I have a few trucks I'd like to know more about, but don't want to take up alot of your time.
I'm 6'4" wel feed my propblem is hight. If I sit up stright , I'm looking at the wiper motor or the top frame of the windshield. So I have the hunch over/slouch to look out the windshield.
