What have you done to your HMMWV today/lately

It looks great, NormB; nice work. You might consider tacking a length of half-round to the leading edge of that sheet of plywood. It could help keep that edge from splintering-up over time, as you're sliding stuff into the back of the rig there. Just a thought.

Modern Russian Army in the photos.

That's an interesting artillery piece there, USSR. The low profile is a nice feature. Just curious, do you know if the tires are what we call over here "run-flats", in other words are they solid tires (and not pneumatic)?

    2017 TX MV Rally

Attendance at any event is typically a moving target. Momma here is in the hotel business working with meeting planners and the like, and I've picked up from her that even with confirmed RSVP'S to any event (conferences, weddings, etc.) that expecting 80-85% of those who commit is the safe...

Modern Russian Army in the photos.

I'm guessing that's a self-propelled anti-tank weapon, and a sanctioned item of the official Russian Military arsenal. But it's kind of hard to tell from the surroundings in this vid: - It almost looks like it's the garage project of a neighbor or something, but that can't be right.

I guess you'd know by now if it was something else, but are you sure that's what it was?!

Is the blue line in the pic just to hold hoses and such out of the way, or is it maybe for tensioning the belt on the pulleys?

Well, it's not like you're diminishing its lifespan, or wearing it out that way..... BUT, it is the property of the company; so likely best to play it safe: "I didn't mean nothing, Boss; but the dog just got a wild hair and ate it!"

These might solve some of your problem, but what I don't know is whether they're rated for automotive use: http://www.leevalley.com/us/Wood/page.aspx?p=30051&cat=1,240,41067&ap=1

    SR71 Blackbird

That was my favorite part of the vid, where that first pilot in summarizing the whole experience of piloting these airframes just casually said: - "It's quite a ride....":naner::naner::drool:

A season restricted to mortars would be interesting (you know, limited to 75mm +/-). But then, there wouldn't much left to dress out I guess.

    Opinions on MEP-831A

Army, right? Submariners follow a concept called cross-training; it solves a word of problems. You want to do it right, do it the Navy way.:doghead:
