I would try the compromise approach with the seller....see if they will go 50/50 with you on repair or provide the parts and you do the labor. If the seller sells a lot of trucks I'm sure they want repeat business and don't need any adverse publicity.

Progressive did my M816, M915 and are now doing my M927. No restrictons on how I use it.

If there is black smoke coming out of the stack you are wasting fuel. Too much fuel...not enough air or you are lugging the engine.

A buddy of mine has the item pictured.....its a camper made from a Chevy bed and frame. Same year as the CUCV's I think. He fabbed the camper himself and did all the TIG welding on the ladder and other parts. He is asking 600 bucks for it and I'll deliver it to the rally for some fuel money...
