You talking more than 25'? Can get that at local truck parts store. Long throttle cables are used on pre 1993 fire trucks but 25' typically is all that is required and longest I've purchased.
These are bowden style with a locking rotary throttle knob.
For your Tatra parts you might try playing "Stump the IH parts counterman"

Navistar Defense, LLC and TATRA, a.s. announced that they will team for the upcoming Canadian Department of National Defence Standard Military Pattern (SMP) vehicle program. As...
As I recall, Sam was using MAN 8x8 in Europe for the Ground Launched Cruise missle system and Pershiing missle system before the HEMMT was in prodcuction (mid 80s).
Likely Navy/SeeBee inventory. They seem to have quite a few vehicles they stock and never use. Typically civilian model and located in Norfolk or Gulf Coast.. In the last couple months 30+ 6x6 IH and Ford dump trucks and 1/2dozen 4x4 GMC (civilian) Type I ambulances. 50-1000mi (drive from...
The Army mounted 600gal pods on M105 trailer for mogas until around the late 70s/early 80s. Rolled many as way too top heavy and narrow track. Wrecked a lot of equipment.
In early 80s began using bolster trailers (M796 2axle 4t) for mogas pod wagons. A MUCH more satisfactory and safe...
Can any of you CUCV fans explain the interest in the pickup/Blazers? Not "real" military vehicles, just a so-so old Chevy with a few extras hung on. I don't get it. Typical owner/enthusiast seams to be a non-vet. Perhaps just missed out on driving for Sam so don't know what you missed and...
Great pump. Navy bastardized late ones with a propane injection system so could start on JP. Used same little size cartridges as the CO2 used in pellet rifles.
Engine is an OMC 2 cycle outboard powerhead. Out of business so engine parts are very difficult to find.

Guy GET SOME BAFFLES IN THAT TANK. At a minimum.
You'd be better off getting a 600gal pod from DOD surplus for the chassis. There is a reason Sam ran Duece TPUs with only one pod. It's not a 5t.
A rural FD near me has a 814 (long WB M813) with a 3000gal tank (baffled). Do the math. Not...
M220 chassis with 600gal tank and equipment box at the front.
Looking for TM (or TM #).
NSN is 2330 01 212 2187
Looking for info on what pump/filter seperator/dispensing equipment is included with the unit. Same as a TPU?
Unless it's something bashing the military contact any National Guard or Reserve Center. Every unit in the US has tents.
Or perhaps see if the local college Army ROTC Cdr will assist with obtaining loan of a tent. Might have his cadets set it up for you. Good learning experience for them.
Very interesting thread. My M923A1 experience was in 1986/87 as a truck (Support Plt) PL. Brand spanking new. I know we didn't have any of the reverse low range/crack the transfer case or max 40mph w/nondirectional tires or you're gonna wreck. Little NET when we turned in M813 that would...
