When in the field we removed the round amber reflectors or tape over with OD 100mph tape.
Pretty easy to install x 4" amber reflectors (2 screws) and remove them as desired.
Regarding M1022 "turns out that they're all for sea containers which are 6 inches shorter"???? The purpose of a M1022 is to transport seavan/containers.
In your misc biddng, get some surplus camo nets w/support sets. At least you'll have some shade to work under which makes a BIG diff.

Rule 1. Do not emplace claymore unless you're prepared to fire, do not fire unless you intend to kill.
Deere buys a LOT of their construction equipment from "foreign" mfg worldwide. Big and small. Japan, Sweden, Italy, etc. Doubt if 50% of the models are US assembled. And many of those have major "foreign" components.
Same for CAT
About 100x duece listed at DRMO Letterkenny, PA that. Odds are they will end up at govliq in the next month. All listed as F7, H7, or HX, Several of the HX that I pulled up info on said to run and photos look pretty.

Are you sure you're getting fuel to the cylinder? As I recall had hard time getting ours to start 1st time because the AF purged all fuel from the system at turn in. A little pressure in the fuel tank to force fuel thru the lines. As I recall bleed air out at the pump...

Rosenbauer is one of the largest euro mfg of fire apparatus. Bought into the US market a few years ago an apparently strong grow. I'm told make some very nice well designed/made fire trucks.
Other than 8x8 unlikely anything in common with HEMTT as a competitor of Oshkosh/Pierce/etc.
Any of the multirange (make sure has AC and DC) will do what you need. Even the cheapies. But spend a few extra $ (like $40-100) and get a decent meter with a armoured case that may survive your dropping it. A digital meter is nice (vs analog/needle). HomeDepot etc will have what you need...
State Surplus agencies. They get after has been picked over/thru by all the other eligible parties: Mil users, Fed Users, then States. They get at no cost. BUT they have to pickup and transport at their expense. So all that I know of charge you for the items. Sometimes more than "market"...

For this project got a 1991 Ford F900 6x6 (Marmon Herrington) tractor from the Navy (Norfolk). Truck is a diesel Allison, only had 18416mi at pickup. GVWR is something over 41000lb.
