That is one nice looking truck. And needs to go to a collector that will take care of it. Not some construction company that will beat the crap out of it.
Does anyone have or have made a new back for the spring seat???? It seem to be curved. Does it need to be? Is it plywood? How do you bent it if it is?? :? :? What kind of foam do you use?

Yep got it from FT Riley. But its a 39ID truck A shipping sticker on say Kuait to Ft Carson. But does not have a date thought. Got it in the sale before last at FT Riley. This last sale they went for more than the one befor last.
The power streering is an add on at the unit I think. And I'd bet that more privtly owened truck have it than military. This is the frist on I've seen. And It is real real nice :D :D
I got a great GL deal on this one no seat back or bottom :( But the power streering more than makes up for it :D :D :D :D :D Jumped it and backed it right off the trailer and drove the 1/2 mile home. Good breaks, all lights work, all tries holding air :D. Maybe I sould have driven it home...
The TMVG show at Bristow is Fri early sat so if anyone wanted they could go by there frist. They do a WWII battel reinactment thing. no room for tail rides or anything like that. It's at the airport. As for inviteing them I will send them an email this week. And I will send one to the Arkansas...
YES YES YES for working on the trucks jack stands all the way. Now for the parts truck out in the yard blocks. But as you pointed out , I use wood and/or soild blocks to spread the load. And doble stack and cross each layer.
