I'm about 80 miles SE of Redstone....if you want to layover at my LZ you are welcome to flop in the spare room.
If you are going to do a pickup at GL Redstone call Teresa ASAP for an appointment....they have been very busy lately.
PM for contact info.
I would try the compromise approach with the seller....see if they will go 50/50 with you on repair or provide the parts and you do the labor.
If the seller sells a lot of trucks I'm sure they want repeat business and don't need any adverse publicity.
PB......You low down &)(**%&^*^&$&$........poor Elmo had just got over the trama of that dastardly assault by your traveling flea circus and you have to post the evidence.
He is still in therapy.......do you have any idea what a possum shrink costs?
Me and the Boss Lady made it back to the LZ about 0300 Sunday morning.......I had a commitment with my son for today.
Here are some more pics of the madness.
Thanks to Tim and family for hosting another successful rally.
Well......me and the Boss Lady made it to Tim's place safe and sound.
Only hicup was my fuel transfer pump quit before I could fill the Dodges tank but I got enough in to get here. Tomorrow me and some of the other Green Iron Addicts will attempt to fix the wretched thing.
We stopped by...
Me and the Boss Lady will be popping smoke around 0900 in the morning.......should be there before dark........................mmmmmmmmmm I smell cookies baking.:drool::drool:
Backing one of those up is an exercise in frustration...especially if you get into a bad spot and can't drive out straight. If you do this put a BIG pintle hitch on the front of the tow vehicle so you can drag it out without backing up.
You would do a lot better using a Bolster trailer with a...
I just picked up my M927A2 and am still amazed by the size of it. It's actually longer than the van trailer I was pulling with my M915 by about a foot.
I aired all the tires up on it today (well the rear tires.....stupid CTIS on the front won't allow an air chuck to be put on the...
Welcome to the Green Iron Laughing Accademy.:cookoo:
Come on down to the GA Rally in October.......join the dark (green) side......we have cookies.
I met the Murrays at the MVPA convention in Evansville a few years ago...they had a lot of good stuff but it was dealer priced. Seemed like good people to do business with.
You will prob get a better price from an individual seller but you need to make sure the truck is what it is supposed to...
At the 2009 GA Rally a fellow member (name withheld to protect the guilty) brought some JP-8 and I got a share of it......when I left the rally I put the used veggie oil from the MKT and some JP-8 in my deuces fuel tank.
It ran like a scalded dog all the way back to Alabama.
If you cut it...
A buddy of mine has the item pictured.....its a camper made from a Chevy bed and frame. Same year as the CUCV's I think.
He fabbed the camper himself and did all the TIG welding on the ladder and other parts.
He is asking 600 bucks for it and I'll deliver it to the rally for some fuel money...
