I'm shure you can break the pallets down you just have to take ALL the cans. I take stuff off the pallets all the time and leve them the pallets.
As too how many??? I do know that a .30cal fits in a .50cal and 3 .50cals or 4 .30cals fit in to a 20mm

I got "issued" a brand new M998 in saudi the frist go round. Drove it there 200-300 miles at most. Return to Ft Hood and it got maybe a few 1,000's miles more. So no more than 5,000 at most. Motor pool called and said it was do for service to bring it in. I drove it there , it was running 100%...
I will use the old stuff for now it looks ok. The one I will have to cut some off. It has a bad kink in it with some broken strands. 30-40' from the working end. Unless I find a great deal on 600' of 1/2" cable.

The drum brake was nice and clean. The worm grear and bearings had alot of surface rust on them. More water in the gear box than oil. But I was able too clean them all up.
I had good luck on the frist whinch. I still have 2 more to do. None of my winch model trucks came with winches.
The seals I got from O'reily auto parts and some bulk gasket stuff. The number are listed on here. I'll look up the link and add it here.

Well I finally got one of my 10K winches from Adelmans. Rebuilt , sand blasted, painted and back together today. Here are some pic of the job. As I know you all love pic's.

As I remember it takes what seems like a long time. It puts in a litte air then stop checks pres. then add some more stops checks then more air well you get the idea.
