Sorry that pic is posted sideways, kids were crying outside so I just hit ok. The 2" receiver tube measures 28", 29", and 30" up off the ground as on flat level pavement for my M925A2 with 14.00R20 single tires. 29" being the mid-point of the actual receiver tube, and 28" / 30" being the...
Side plate pic below. I have the side plates mounted in this position in order to place the receiver tube at the height and for-aft location that it is. I am also lazy and wanted to use the 4 frame bolts and holes on each side to mount it. The side plates have a curved lip to strengthen for...
FO Bro!!! Thanks for the help last night, could not have accomplished all we did on the 9 without you. Welcome to MI, we're lucky to have ya'.
You'll run out of fuel in something you drive one day, and you'd better do all you can to make sure I never find out about it!
It is a 4" pipe thread, so it will fit anything equipped as so. If one had a short piece of 4" pipe with thread welded to the opening of a Deuce tank, it would work.
Google 4" EVR, and it will show up. I did a fuel tank upgrade at work, so this was headed to the scrap pile. Looks like the brass ring and cap are $40 each, but if somebody drains your 81g tank at $4/gallon, or pours something into it which shuts you off in the middle of the road, it becomes...
Quick latching and locking fuel cap. This is the fill cap from an above ground fuel storage tank. Has a seal, is quick to remove/install, and has a locking provision. ANS Distributing is one company which sells these. Select tank valves, fittings, and accessories, then top seal fill caps...
For just under $200 (free delivery), the Curt U-weld kit #15902 is a side plate mount and allows one to keep their pintle. Pic below of the #15902 I installed on my M925A2 last night. It has a class V rating @ 15,000lb tow capacity and 1500lb tongue weight. The side plates are 5/16" thick and...
Easy, just open or close the valve after it is installed. The DMH valve was supposed to have the best design, sealing, and warranty of them. When I hold the valve up to a light, I see zero light shining through. The butterfly actually seals against a ledge on both sides. I had an M35A2 for a...
Ordered 4" cut-out from DMH performance. Having the wye pipe TIG welded into the exhaust pipe along the straight run below the passenger side floor, before the muffler but post-turbo. Undecided where to run the short dump pipe to.... Marking and removing pipe this weekend, and dropping off...
I don't believe mine to be correct on my M925A2. Though I have not actually looked yet, when I have the transmission in neutral, and I depress the transfer case shift lever button (still in T-case Hi range), the truck softly jumps forward about 4 inches, and I can repeat this. The transfer case...
I am also looking for sources of 8.3 performance parts. Haisley machine seems to have the best rated GSK's for 5.9's, but if the Pac's have proven like just did, then I may go with them. I'm also looking for stiffer valve springs, head stud kit, bigger injectors, HX50 turbo, remove the after...
Wanting both, I just ordered a 4" electric cutout and stainless Y pipe from DMH performance today for my M925A2. Valve will go below passenger door, with a short piece of stainless pipe to route the diverted outlet to the edge of the door. Stay tuned....literally.
Wrong thread, and wrong category. Request to move, and not interested in male orifices.
As others said, shoot some ether down the intake and crank it. If the engine fires, this at least tells you mechanically it is fine. Your fuel may be water (within). When mixed, it is hard to tell...
Wanted to share a quick story about insuring an M925A2 for legal road usage in MI. After being declined by several companies due to their not knowing what type of vehicle, or saying they don't insure those types of vehicles, or my driving record not being stellar (average one ticket per year)...

Complaining about improper English, while using improper English to do so, seems inappropriate to me.

Coolant eats the plating off of bearings. You should plan to do at least the rods and mains, as they should be reasonably inexpensive. I'd be worried about the cam bearings also, but that probably requires engine removal to do. Judge it by how the rod and main bearing journal surfaces look...
I have an M925A2 (Cummins 8.3L), with both small and large filters. My large filer does the same gurgling if opened, and as others have said, yes, when you push the Schrader valve at the top, the canister drains quickly. This small amount of air in both filters seems to have no effect if your...
