Yes my 530C fire truck does have a heater under the dash but it is a hole difernt heater than the rest. If you look at a A3 parts book you will see that it has the same heater as all other deuces it's just mounted in side under the dash like boatcarpenter is doing and I'm thinking of doing.

heck for scrap price get all of them. They arent making any more. I have 3 M135's and only one good bed :( and no tail gates aua If I'm lucky I will make 2 truck's. Maybe a 4 door :wink:

You bet me to this story. My happen right next to the house the other day. I was try to see why the flame heater was not working. Found the wire under the dash going to the switch unpluged. So I pluged it back in and tryed it. The flame is sopost to be in the eng and not under the dash right :(...

I'm thinking of mounting mine like the A3 under the glove box. With it on the fender its real hard to get to that side of the eng. 2cents

OK I got my oil sample back to day can't scan it like boatcarpenter did but the report is the same format so I will list the numbers in the same order the eng is a LDT 465 1C with 787 hr on the meter (right or wong???) 111A 17A 13 16 0 7 0 0 19 240 19 263 2421...

I have a ? being that it is a dragline can it be use as a crane as is you do you have to modify it???

I've pulled a M35 and M135 (not at the same time) with a F350 super duty and small goose neck trailer 20' 12-14K. pulled a M35 mins axles and bed with a F250 super duty and a bumper/ball type trailer 22' 14k and a m135 mins eng with the same set up worked real well much perfed to flat towing...

I think you have it backwards myself. I would put the deuce on a gooseneck trailer behind the dually.

I was at texarkana this spring and was in loaded and out in 1 -1 1/2hr. it didn't seem any differant than any where else.
