I find that a standard sledge with a few pieces of angle iron makes for an easy time breaking these wheels down (there are more than one post showing the process with photos...). Nice thing is that you can use three at once to help wedge and hold down the bead on older tires and you can leave...
For those of you in the TN, VA, SC, GA, area...

I really enjoy using mine with the MBU's...
They provide great heat, are easy to troubleshoot, and fuel is easy to find (especially since I can pull from the tank on the XM813...).
On the other hand, I used to enjoy using the earlier gas burners when cooking ribs or such since I didn't have to...
I ran my MKT-85 at the Haspin gathering one year off a Harbor Freight 800watt two stroke generator... Remember, all it has to do is provide juice for the MBU air pumps and logic boards (and, in my case, LED lighting...). The heat for cooking is coming from the diesel being burned...

I have a few good Michelin tubes/flaps in...

Most likely because someone has screwed in/out (I never can remember the direction) the knob that bypasses the cutoff solenoid...
Often done when someone is having electrical issues (weak batteries/weak charging/too...
I have the event blocked out on my work calendar.
I plan to have my MKT-85 again this year....May change up the vehicle towing it from the XM813 to something else...
Menu ideas will be posted closer to the event.
I had a copy of David Ahl's book at one time (given to me for a Christmas present when it was published). It was a compilation of his articles in MV Magazine (he was the magazine's publisher).
The info wasn't bad, but the book could have been a lot more...
I no longer have my copy, I loaned...
I have put the dates on my work schedule so that I can ensure that the MKT85 makes an appearance...
Perhaps it is time to start the Denton 2022 thread?
There are areas of the house and property that are off limits to the cleaning crew... :)
These pages have been in the flat file cabinet next to the workbench for decades... I'm surprised that they didn't yellow more than they did...
I've attached the two files containing the scans of the installation instructions for the convoy light set that I purchased NOS back in the 1990's for use on my M35A2C...that got moved to a XM813... One scan is of the text pages with the parts list and step by step installation instructions, the...

I will miss seeing it make its rally debut...
You know that we always appreciate and enjoy your attendance at the rally with or without a vehicle...
Looking forward to seeing you Saturday.
Since we are getting close...
Remember that we don't have cell reception unless you are top of the mountain or go down the road five or ten miles (depending on direction).
We do have decent WIFI so you can access the internet (and place calls if you have set up your phone to use WIFI...)...
The event is getting closer and closer... :)

They've also been known to work deals with experienced equestrians so that you...
We had a great turnout for the trail cleanup weekend last week (coincided with Peach Day at Graves Mountain on July 25th...).
Had crews on both Doubletop and Graves Mountains ensuring that they are ready for our event...
The shirts have been ordered...
Price will be determined once the shop has completed the order and I know what the final costs are...
