One of my favorite places to look for rubber parts when I don't have an exact supplier (and sometimes when I do) is Steele Rubber Products of Denver, NC. (US made, quality stuff...)
Steele is a supplier of parts for a wide variety of vehicles, but the best thing is that their catalog shows the...
PoW on this site has one that he converted back in the '80s... Great little engine for a conversion as long as you keep in mind the noise and that it has been a long time since Detroit supported them directly.
I considered one back when I installed the Cummins 4BT into my truck.
Welcome from Raleigh, NC (where the day job is) and from Syria, Va (where the family is...).
If you aren't doing anything Memorial Day, Fourth of July, or Labor Day Weekend, come over to Graves Mountain (in Syria, VA) and join a few of us as we: get ready for the Bluegrass Festival, watch...
Just a reminder that we don't charge extra for vending...or for bringing a camper/trailer and your trail vehicle and a support vehicle...and you can camp anywhere in the field that you want (as long as it is not my space, RickF's spot, or where I plan to put the registration tent...)...
It's a...
Stuff not on the above list (since that spreadsheet is a tad old...). This thread was started in 2006 but seems to have been resurrected for this year...
I'll have coffee/tea/water dispensers for sale.
I'll have five gallon water jugs for sale (almost all are tan, all are previously...

Most auto parts stores have a five or ten pack of zerks...
I tend to get the bigger packs/boxes of them (assortments are really nice) at Northern Tool/Harbor Freight or as add on items to my McMaster-Carr orders.
They basically come in two different sizes (hole/thread) with a variety of angles...
Since this is the only thread that comes up when I do a search...

I'll have five gallon water jugs for sale (almost all are tan, all are previously enjoyed...).
I'll have M37 parts (PM me if you need anything specific...).
I'll have some M101...
I miss attending this rally...
Even though it was a LONG ride from Raleigh in the XM813 with the MKT85 in tow, I had a blast both years that I made the trip.
I have two years (earliest) to four years (latest) before I retire from the day job and get my summers back... Warm weather is our busy...
Several of the trails that originate at the camping field (access via private gravel orchard road) do not have water crossings, a few of them do with depth that normally is fordable with a M274 with no fording equipment (I own a M274A5...). Several more require crossing a 24' wide paved road...
Yep, that same cutting board from Sam's found a home in my MKT as well...
I have larger ones that I use on the counter (actually, three depending on what is being cut...), but it is nice to have a solid surface on that cabinet.
Don't forget that we get to use the Lodge's Jr. Olympic swimming pool... It's a great way to cool off after a trailride or time at the range...
It is open all day and into the early evening, is professionally staffed (lifeguards), and has a snack bar... ;)
I just thought that I would post that this year's East Coast Convoy and the related supper (Eastern NC Style BBQ) held at my location (as usual) will be dedicated to Dudley and to Tony Norton...
I took my MKT85 to the Denton, NC, MV gathering last week.
Replaced the light bulbs with LED units.
Fed a bunch of people... (including one of my really big fans from a local jeep club that helps me with the Graves Mountain Trailrides and Rally)
Found out that one of the folding tables that I...
Amnon has updated the website.
It now shows the correct dates and has the proper registration form.
We'll add the shirt info before too long.
I also need to add a bunch of photos from previous years... ;)
Not on the website (keeping it low key again this year) is that we will be running the...
I had the forms at Denton at the MKT...
I also uploaded it to a post on this year's event thread...and sent it to Amnon to use in updating the official event website.
Thanks!
